This is a channelled healing mandala I created for my beloved father, on the occasion of his 83rd birthday, to facilitate healing for this transitionary stage of his life while supporting his connection with the Divine. Seen in the mandala are symbols I received during the healing meditation which include the animal spirits of the Butterfly, the Cockatoo and the Elephant who are accompanying him at present, offering him potent animal medicine for his journey; the flower Gardenia; the raw forms of the crystals Chrysocolla and Moonstone; the Sacred Geometry of the pyramid (3 triangles); and a sigil which was communicated to me by Spirit as embodying the energy of ‘symbiosis’. These symbols together carry the healing and transformational energies he currently requires including for the blocks and imbalances he is experiencing in his throat and heart chakras.
The Butterfly: The butterfly spirit animal symbolizes profound personal transformation, metamorphosis, and spiritual growth, acting as a guide through life's major transitions. It encourages embracing change with grace, joy, and lightness of being, while representing the soul, resurrection, and the ability to overcome adversity with optimism. This particular butterfly also represents my father’s lady love (my late mother), who appears often in this form.
The Cockatoo: The cockatoo spirit animal brings the medicine of transformation, wisdom, and powerful communication, often acting as a messenger of change and emotional expression. Associated with both vibrant social energy and ancient wisdom, this totem encourages authenticity, deep listening, and navigating life's transitions with resilience.
The Elephant: The elephant medicine contains profound wisdom, immense strength, steadfast loyalty, and nurturing protection. It represents an ability to remove obstacles, grounding energy, and deep emotional intelligence. Those with this guide are said to often possess a patient, family-oriented, and resilient nature, fostering strong community bonds. In essence, the elephant spirit animal is a gentle giant, combining immense power with great tenderness, urging a life built on strong values, compassion, and resilience. All of these qualities are truly representative of my father.
Gardenia: Gardenias hold profound spiritual significance, primarily symbolizing purity, innocence, divine love, and clarity. Often associated with meditation and inner reflection, these fragrant, white flowers represent a connection to the spiritual realm, positive energy, and renewal.
Chrysocolla: Chrysocolla is a vibrant blue-green stone known as a powerful, calming tool for communication, empowerment, and inner wisdom. It is often referred to as the "Wise Stone," helping to release negativity, soothe erratic emotions, and foster clarity during stressful times. It is particularly connected to the throat and heart chakras, promoting honest, gentle, and compassionate expression.
Moonstone: Moonstone is spiritually revered as a stone of new beginnings, inner growth, and emotional balance, deeply connected to divine feminine energy and the lunar cycle. It enhances intuition, promotes calm, and provides protection during travel or transition, often used to foster self-discovery and inner peace.
Pyramid/Triangles: The pyramid is the most solid structure according to Sacred Geometry, and carries the energies of growth, strength, stability, preservation and protection. The triangle is the 2-dimensional version of the pyramid and what I was shown were 2 small triangles on either side of a bigger triangle, denoting the body, mind and spirit, which is interconnected with the message on symbiosis. The colours represent the iridescent rays of the sun as well as the 12 chakras.
The Sigil: The sigil carries the energy of ‘symbiosis’ and at a deeper level, the inter-connectedness of all things, at the heart of which is the call for balancing and harmonization of disparate or polarized energies within. The Spirit message that I received was,“Despite all that you believe to the contrary, there is a symbiotic relationship among all that appears to be oppositional or contradictory, such as the heart, mind, body and soul; past, present and future; feminine and masculine (energies); heaven and earth; and life and death.” I was also told that there is a deep rupturing and fragmentation of the soul when we believe in our isolation as a result of our separation consciousness, which is countered through symbiosis that takes us towards unity consciousness. The sigil has been placed inside of a pyramid to enhance its power. Synchronistically, a closer look at the sigil will make visible a smaller triangle (in the top portion) and a larger triangle (when connecting the eye on top with the 2 spirals at the bottom), connecting it to the message of the 3 triangles above.
The Sun: My father was placed within the sun because he is the ‘surya’ (sun) of my life as well as in order to bring in the healing and vitalizing energies of the sun into his life.
